Lets talk purses. There are so many purses; different designers, different styles, or colors, or shapes and sizes. Recently the trend has either been big and bulky purses or cross-body and small. I prefer cross-body, just because then i don't feel like i have to fill any empty space. But if you have a lot to carry, then big and bulky is perfect. Another trend is a pop of color, or bold colors and patterns. Some designers are even making it so that your big and bulky purses are also cross-body purses with a long strap, so you get the best of both worlds.

#Prom

For some schools, prom has already happened. But at Wyoming, our prom is on Saturday. So I thought for all you last minute shoppers I would give you some pointers. Lets get started!

1. The longer the dress the more elegant and sleek. Shorter is better for dancing, and high-lows are good for both.

2. Bright colors...Are just a no. Sure they are bright and fun, but your not a highlighter.

3. Your shoes should match your dress. Common sense, but you would be surprised.

4. If you want a themed dress, go right ahead. But don't go to overboard. Keep it simple, ladies.

5. Men! Bow ties are still in, and they are classy.

6. Don't go overboard with your makeup. We aren't Barbie dolls, so don't cake it on there. You'll probably sweat a lot of it off anyways.

7. Seniors- It's your last prom. Don't be afraid to go all out and get everything done professionally.  (Nails, Hair, Makeup, etc.)

8. Two piece dresses are totally in style, and super cute!

9. They make strapless bras for a reason. Please wear one.

10. If you have more skin showing then you have dress, that's an issue. Get a better dress.

Little Black Boots

I like to talk about staple pieces for your wardrobe, and black booties are definitely a must-have.  They go with almost any outfit, and you can dress them up or down. They come in so many different styles. From combat boot style to sleek and shiny, to used and dirty.

Any pair of booties is a must, but you for sure need a pair of black booties. They go with everything, and are so cute. They can add that special something to any outfit. I know i have 2 pairs of booties and i love them both! Booties are totally in style, and trending for the summer. You can pair them with jeans, for bonfires at night, or shorts for walking downtown during the day.

Any outfit, any time. Booties are a go-to item and actually pretty affordable. Obviously they will be more expensive depending on where you go, so keep that in mind. Happy shopping!!

Spring Cleaning

      OK guys, it's Spring time now-- And you know what that means. It's time to pack away those dark winter colors, for something for festive! It's the season to be cheery, with bright colors and poppin' patterns. Skirts and sandals are totally OK, now that its not freezing out! And you can't forget the crop tops.
      But, don't get too carried away, as it's not summer yet. It might still be a bit chilly, so dress appropriately for the weather. You don't want to go under dressed, and you don't want to go over dressed in a sweater and long pants, with boots.
     Don't forget to do your spring cleaning, and get rid of the stuff you don't wear. That gives you a great excuse to go shopping and pick up some super cute, Spring appropriate clothes. Happy shopping!

Pretty Patterns

      One of the top trends for 2015 is patterns. Especially when you double up with patterns. Its bold, and it's risky. When the outfit come together, though, its fabulous. Obviously you can't go too crazy, so try to keep it minimal. But if you want to pair up a bold black and white stripe with a sassy floral top, you are golden! Pair that with some killer shoes, and you got yourself a fierce outfit for the day!
   
     Another good thing to keep in mind is that horizontal stripes make you look smaller, which is super cool on days you don't feel good about yourself.  Vertical stripes make you look a little bigger, so you should that in mind when you are planning your outfit. You should also keep in mind that the bolder the pattern the harder it is to pair up, unless you use a solid color.

     Patterns are taking this world by storm, so be crazy! I'm here to lessen the stress of your morning, and patterns and flare to any outfit. I hope this helps, and you pattern up your wardrobe!

Flannel Friday

Hi again! Its that time of year, when your not sure how to dress. The snow is melting, but its still cold. The prefect solution is a flannel. They come in every color and you can get them for cheap. They go good with jeans or leggings, it all depends on your taste.

Obviously, you can wear flannels any day of the week, not just Friday. More perks of flannels: They keep you warm, but if you get warm you can just tie it around your waist. Its still super cute. Flannels are another big trend that started in 2014, but carried into 2015. They are just so easy.

You can dress flannels up by pairing them with a simple white T shirt and a statement necklace. Or you can dress them down by wearing a flannel, leggings, and slippers. Cute, but comfy. Flannels are super good if your traveling, because you can layer them.

Flannels are another staple piece you should totally add to your wardrobe. I promise, they will change your life for the good.
