All Tied Up

Nowadays everyone is wrapped up in scarves. Literally! Its a trend that's coming back full force. Scarves started as a big fashion trend in France in the 1930's. But they go all the way back to Egypt, and early China. Warriors of the Chinese wore them to show their military rank. Today, we wear them for style and for comfort.
You can make any outfit look cuter by adding a scarf, with out trying to hard. It's simple and it's easy. Its also warmer for the cold winter months. So say goodbye to the struggle of picking out complex outfits, and better yet say goodbye to a cold neck!
There are so many types of scarves, and so many ways to tie them! You can get an infinity scarf, which is just a big circle you wrap around your neck a couple times. Or, you can get a regular scarf. There are so many different ways to tie a regular scarf, so feel free to experiment! Certain ties do make certain outfits look better. And don't forget, that some scarves are thinner than others, and when you tie it, it may seem smaller and not how you want it.
Scarves are definitely an on going trend, even in 2015! Stay trendy ladies!!

Red Carpet Ride

I'm here again to discuss yet another award show. Or at least the red carpet! The Oscars went down on Sunday February 22, 2015. And the red carpet was definitely the best part. We saw classics, like Jeniffer Aniston and newbies like Dakota Johnson. Both girls looked absolutely gorgeous, with Jen in a gorgeous Versace dress, and Dakota in a lovely red Saint Laurent dress. This award show definitely had better taste than the Grammys. Maybe its because the Oscars are more prestigious. or Maybe its because the stars learned from their mistakes. either way, I'm definitely not complaining!

You want an award for that?

Fashion Police, this one is for you. Let's get real, and talk about the Grammy's, one of the biggest events in the fashion industry. This event is where we find out who's hot and who's not. This may be a music award show, but we are all looking at what you are wearing.

Take Rihanna, for example. She came dressed as one of those Barbie cakes they sell at the store. No offence to Barbie of course. And Iggy Azalea's hair style should have died with Rome. That braid going along the top of her head just wasn't working. Don't even get me started on Joy Villa's construction net dress. Maybe is a metaphor for all the construction to her face! On a more eye pleasing note, lets look at some normally dressed celebrities. Gwen Stefani, wearing a long, black jumper. And lets not forget Anna Kendrick in her classy all black pant suit. She definitely looked killer! For even more pictures check out Vogue!

Too Tight with Tights

Hello again! I hope all is well with you fashionistas. Today's lovely topic is tights, an item you definitely need in your closet. It can make any outfit edgier or, if you have colored tights, more noticeable. Also, ladies, if you haven't shaved your legs this week but really want to wear that dress, tights are perfect. If you get a neutral color, then it blends with your legs, but also doesn't really cover up. You can dress tights up, with cute skirts. Or, you can dress them down with some cute shorts. But, don't forget, its not cute to wear just tights. You need to cover up, girl. Keep it classy, not trashy. If you wear them right, they are so cute. Just a friendly reminder, and happy shopping!
